Madrid has been known for being a staple in the skate industry since the 1970s. After shaping surfboards in his father's garage, Jerry Madrid transitioned into skateboarding and founded Madrid Skateboards. It has since evolved into Madrid Pro Designs. They have been based in California since the start of the brand, and are rooted in never forgetting their heritage. Using the same traditional recipe they created in the late 1960s, Madrid offers 49 decks made with maple and fiberglass. They support a team of 19 riders who look to create new trends instead of following old ones. Madrid is currently manufactured and headquartered in Huntington Beach, California.
