RipTide Cone KranK Formula Bushings provide for a very linear turn (keeping the bushings predictable all the way to the end of the lean) while producing a solid level of rebound to set your trucks back to centerline after quick turns. The tapered shape of the Cone Bushing enables the rider to transition into easy turns which make the Cones ideal for cruising and carving. The unique Krank Formula allows the rider to adjust urethane by simply applying more or less compression pressure on the bushing.

Try combining the RipTide Cone KranK Bushings with a set of RipTide Barrel KranK Bushings. This combination produces aggressive carves and low to mid-speed freeriding.
Tuning:
KranK Formula Bushings are designed specifically to change under pressure and controlled by the amount of compression pressure applied when adjusting the kingpin nut. Riders have great flexibility to choose between very little pressure to produce a loose feel to two full rotations of the kingpin nut for the stiffest feel at centerpoint. KranKs turn similar under the same durometer specifications as other brands. The best washer application for KranKs are cupped, precision flat or precision cupped washers.
Application:
The RipTide Cone KranK Bushing measures .60" tall making them a perfect fit for reverse kingpin "cast" trucks such as Paris, Calibers, Bear Grizzly and Randals.
KranK Formula:
KranK Bushings are unique in that the urethane is designed to change by simply adjusting the truck tightness. Two rotations of the kingpin nut in either direction will dial in your desired stiffness and rebound. Since the urethane changes by compression, KranK Bushings do not need a large variety of durometers. Kranks are available in 84a, 87a, 90a, 93a, 96a.
